Washington:


Plantation Rifle Range (Whatcom County Parks & Recreation Department),Bellingham, WA:

Type:

Highpower Rifle Range has a covered firing line to 300yds.
Trap Range: a single Beomat trap, shooter operated.
Smallbore Rifle & Pistol Range: Indoor to 25yds with Caswell automatic target carrier system (centerfire ammo is limited to "lead free" types -- Total Metal Jacket, Complete Metal Jacket, Totally Encapsulated, etc., and muzzle velocity of 1000fps max.)

Outdoor firing line is covered and lighted for evenings and goes to 100yds (only ammo restriction is: no incendiary-types, like tracer bullets).

Location: just off Interstate-5 exit #246; signs are posted; very easy to find.

Contacts: This is a public shooting facility. Times of operation vary depending on the range and the time of year -- please call if unsure of open times and days (360-676-9770).


Machias Range (Seattle Rifle & Pistol Assn), Machias, WA

Type:

Highpower Rifle Ranges: 200yds, 300yds and 500yds for match events; 100yds only for general recreation and sighting in (firing line is spacious and covered).

Smallbore Rifle & Pistol Range: same as the Highpower.
Trap Ranges: three fields.

Location: just above the small town of Machias, east of Everett; take Hwy 2 eastbound and exit toward Lake Stevens; take immediate next exit to 20th and follow across Hwy 9 to 4-way stop; go straight through intersection and follow to stop sign; turn right onto Machias Road and follow to Division St. (on your left); turn left and follow Division St. up through Machias Cemetary; Range is on your right about 1/2 mile from Cemetary.

Custer Sportsmen's Club, Custer, WA

Type:

Highpower Rifle Range: covered firing line out to 200yds.

Pistol Range: Outdoor covered 25yd and 50yd match Range; Indoor 50ft. Range.

Smallbore Rifle: Indoor same as pistol.

Silhouette Ranges: Smallbore Rifle and Pistol.

IPSC Ranges: Combat handgun.

Location: 3/4-mile east of Interstate-5 exit #270, on the Birch
Bay-Lynden Road; Range will be on your left and runs alongside the roadway. Custer Sportsmen's Club is a private club and membership must be obtained, except for match events when all competitors are welcome.
